Key Responsibilities
Perform vulnerability assessments and authorized security testing of applications and systems.
Identify, document, and reproduce security vulnerabilities.
Conduct security testing of web applications, APIs, and network systems.
Analyze security logs and events using security monitoring/SIEM tools.
Assist in security assessments and penetration-testing activities.
Perform reconnaissance, vulnerability analysis, and basic security testing.
Research emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Assist developers and technical teams with vulnerability remediation.
Prepare vulnerability assessment reports and technical documentation.
Support security automation and cybersecurity projects.
Follow responsible and authorized security-testing practices.
