Security Engineer - Cape Town Zero Trust isn't a buzzword to you - it's Tuesday. Our client is after a Security Engineer who can design and build the guardrails that keep a modern enterprise environment safe, without slowing the business down. You'll be hands-on across identity, endpoint, cloud, and email security - engineering controls that are secure by design, not bolted on as an afterthought Key Requirements: 6+ years in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud security Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures (Zscaler ZIA/ZPA experience a strong plus) Solid IAM and identity governance design/implementation experience (MFA, SAML, OAuth, conditional access) Familiarity with enterprise email security technologies Experience with Microsoft security platforms - Defender, Purview Automation skills in PowerShell and/or Python Working knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
